Measurement of profitability on Australian dairy farms

The Measurement of profitability on Australian dairy farms paper on historical trends and future targets in dairy farm profitability was published on 14 February 2020. It is an appendix document of the draft Australian Dairy Plan, which is expected to be finalised and released in April 2020. The paper proposes a new profit target for dairy farms and highlights the proportion of farms currently operating below and above this level and differences between regions.
